Supported Housing Project Worker

An exiting opportunity has arisen at Rackfield House to join the team in Bath. Rackfield House is a 20 bed scheme providing temporary accommodation with support for single homeless people.  We are committed to providing a quality service and to continuous improvement.  We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the scheme’s small and dedicated support team. 

The part time post will include managing resident led support structure for a range of people with extra support needs including our innovative 4 bed Post Alcohol Detox Service.  Other responsibilities include liaising with specialist support agencies including drug and alcohol services, Mental Health and Learning Disability services, collection of accommodation charges and overseeing and maintaining health and safety of the scheme.

We are looking for someone with:

- Experience of working with people in a busy supported housing environment.
- A systematic approach to managing administrative tasks with the ability to multitask methodically and effectively.
- A desire to work with vulnerable adults and provide them with a safe and welcoming environment.

This is a part-time role (30 hours per week), fixed-term for 6 months.
